Meet the Pasadena Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Pasadena

We’re a small crew. That’s on purpose. When you call Servo Garage Doors Pasadena, the person who answers knows the difference between a broken spring and a misaligned track, because they’ve had their hands on both. Every technician who shows up at your door lives in or near Pasadena, knows the streets from Altadena to San Marino, and has been trained to the same standard: written price before work starts, photo record when it’s done. No subcontractors, no rotating cast of strangers. The same faces, the same standard, every call.

Our People

Marcus Deller, Owner

Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors in 2015 after a decade in the trade, first as an installer, then as a repair tech who kept getting called to fix other companies’ rushed jobs. The pattern wore him down: loose bolts, wrong spring wire diameter, invoices that grew after the work began. So he built the company around a simple rule: the customer sees the failed part before anyone quotes a replacement. Marcus still rides out on emergency calls when the schedule demands it, and he’s the one reading every photo report before it goes to the customer. He’ll tell you a torsion spring that snaps on a Sunday night is just doing its job. The job is respect.

Ray M., Lead Technician

Ray has spent 14 years working on garage doors across the San Gabriel Valley, and he’s seen every brand in the book fail in every way it can. LiftMaster logic boards, Wayne Dalton bottom brackets, Genie travel modules. If you live in a 1920s craftsman home in Bungalow Heaven with a non-standard 7.5-foot opening, Ray has likely worked on a door like yours. His specialty is spring systems, and he keeps a digital torque log on every job, not memory. Outside work, Ray restores vintage motorcycles in his Sierra Madre garage. “If it has a spring, a chain, or a motor, I want to know why it works,” he says, “so I know why it stopped.”

Dana K., Senior Installer

Dana has been with Servo since 2018 and leads the new-door installation side of the business. She measures twice, levels once, and photographs the opening before and after framing, because a new door’s lifespan is decided in the first hour of install. Amarr and Clopay doors are her daily work, but she’s certified on all eight brands we service. Dana handles the technical drawings and the detail-heavy installs: tight side clearances, low-headroom tracking, old garages where nothing is square. She knits when she’s not on the job, and her patience shows. A crooked garage has never once annoyed her, because she’s already planning the fix.

Leo T., Service Coordinator and Apprentice Tech

Leo is the voice on the phone when you call, unless the crew is short, in which case he’s wheeling his tool bag out to a job. He joined Servo in 2022 as an apprentice under Ray and Dana, and he’s earned his place on repair calls, handling rollers, cables, hinges, and openers for Clopay and Chamberlain systems. Leo’s from Pasadena, went to Pasadena City College, and knows how to talk a new customer through a broken spring over the phone while Ray loads the truck. His weakness is a pan dulce from a bakery on Fair Oaks. His strength is scheduling. He’s the reason your tech shows up with a name and an on-the-way text, not a four-hour window.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard is not a slogan. It’s a written set of clauses that every Servo technician works to, in Pasadena and across every location. Clause 1 means the price is written down before work starts, and it doesn’t change because the tech got a closer look once the panel was off. Clause 4 means the technician photographs what they found: the severed torsion spring, the stripped gear in the opener, the cracked panel. The customer sees the evidence before quoting begins. That’s not a sales tactic, it’s the rule Marcus built the company on. When a crew turns over, the standard doesn’t. The paperwork ensures that. And Dana, Ray, Leo, and Marcus all know what leaving looks like: a customer who holds a documented record of what was found and what was fixed, a written warranty, and a door that operates like the day it was new.
